Can we break the report down by division or program?
Yes. Tag members by division, program or anything else you report on, and a rule carries a member’s tag onto every publication they author. Then narrow the list by tag and export just that part.
Can faculty check their own publications before the report goes out?
Yes. Invite each member to confirm their own publications with a free account. The list you report from is then one every author has agreed to, not one assembled on their behalf.
Can the report include NIH grants?
Yes. Every member’s NIH grants are tracked from NIH RePORTER, with project numbers, budgets and dates, and the grant list exports as CSV, Excel or Word alongside the publications.
What about publications that are not in PubMed?
Publications come from PubMed, so a paper in a journal PubMed does not index will not appear. MyResearchFocus is built for the biomedical and life-science literature PubMed covers.
What does it cost?
Nothing right now. MyResearchFocus is in public beta, and there is nothing to pay — no credit card and no trial clock. If pricing is introduced after the beta, you will get plenty of notice first.
